Statement of Work

 

Requirement Title: Engineer (CIS security)

 

Requirements Description: Provide support for project implementation, and delivery of

 

infrastructure security solutions

 

Ensure the stability and performance of deployed systems,

 

services and applications post-implementation, through continuous

 

monitoring and addressing any emerging issues in a timely

 

manner.

 

Apply approved security configurations (hardening settings), and

 

continuously maintain the security posture of the infrastructure

 

elements

 

Contribute to remediation of CIS security findings for infrastructure

 

elements

 

Plan, deploy, and configure a variety of hardware, software, and

 

security products;

 

Perform other duties as may be required

 

Duties & Role:

 

Requirements Description: Knowledge and experience:

 

Knowledge of the principles of computer and communication

 

security, networking, and the vulnerabilities of modern operating

 

systems and applications.

 

Knowledge of and proven experience with linux OS, infrastructure

 

as code and automation tools

 

Knowledge of security technologies and solutions specific to

 

hybrid-cloud, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and OnPremise DMZ capabilities

 

Experience with Cyber Hygiene and the Critical Security Controls

 

for effective cyber defence.

 

Practical hands-on experience with systems administration.

 

Ability to investigate and analyse complex scenarios and solve

 

problems in innovative ways

 

Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with the

 

ability to clearly and successfully articulate complex issues to a

 

variety of audiences and teams

 

Skill, Knowledge & Experience:

 

Equivalent NATO Grade: G12

 

IWC Work Location: Mons, BE

 

Full time on-site: Yes

Specific Working Conditions: Normal Office Conditions

 

Some work outside of normal office hours may be required
